The hotels and villas on this website are all classified based on the average room price per night for two adults and an additional star rating is applied based on the service and amenities they offer.

Prices can vary significantly depending on the season. Prices are the highest in winter and particularly around Christmas and Easter. After Easter until beginning of December prices are usually much lower.

Price category 1 includes room prices per night up to 120 USD, price category 2 includes room prices from 120 USD to 250 USD, price category 3 includes room prices from 250 USD to 350 USD, price category 4 includes room prices from 350 USD to 500 USD and price category 5 includes room prices per night which are more than 500 USD.

The star classification starts with one star for hotels which offer basic services, rooms and amenities. Two star hotels offer standard rooms and amenities which usually includes also a pool and a restaurant on-site.

Three star hotels offer comfort amenities and rooms with additional features like kitchen, larger rooms and suites, more restaurant choices on-site. Four star hotels are First Class with superior decorated rooms, additional amenities. Five star hotels belong to the luxury class with truly luxurious and excellent room facilities, restaurants and amenities.

Sammy T's Beach Resort, Cat Island

Hotel Address: Bennett's Harbour, Cat Island. The beachfront Sammy T's Beach Resort is situated in the northern part of Cat Island, close to the Arthur's Town airport.

The tranquil boutique resort is located in a small cove with a private dream beach. The resort has six one- and two-bedroom villas. The inviting outdoor swimming pool is set back a few steps from the beach.

The resort has a restaurant which serves three delicious Bahamian style meals as well as a bar. The resort staff can arrange fishing and snorkeling tours as well as island tours and airport transportation.

Air-conditioned accommodations at Sammy T's Beach Resort offer CD players and DVD players. Rooms open to patios and offer separate sitting areas as well as kitchenettes with refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee/tea makers. The resort has also a gym.

Fernandez Bay Village, Cat Island

Hotel Address: New Bight, Cat Island. Fernandez Bay Village is situated in New Bight in the center of Cat Island close to the airport.

Six brick-and-stone villas and ten cottages are spread along a horseshoe-shaped white-sand beach shaded by causarina pines and hibiscus.

Villas have kitchen, terraces, facing the sea, private gardens and accommodates four to six people. Cottages are for two people and have private patios and garden baths.

Guests can make use of the in-room refrigerators and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms include showers. Wireless internet is free of charge. Not all rooms have air-conditioning.

Canoes, small sailboats and kayaks are free to use. Boats and guides can be hired for snorkeling and fishing expeditions.

Greenwood Beach Resort, Cat Island

Hotel Address: Port Howe, Cat Island. Greenwood Beach Resort is a beachfront bed and breakfast located in Port Howe at the southern tip of Cat Island.

This remote resort it set on an 8 miles stretch of pink shelled sand, about 35 miles away from the New Bight airport. The large clubhouse is the center of activity. You can relax at the stonework bar or on the stone veranda, which has open vistas of the violet-blue sea.

The 16 rooms are bright and cheerfully decorated with rattan furnishings. Not all rooms have air conditioning and they have no phone and TV in the rooms. Absolute tranquility is guaranteed.

Breakfast and dinner are served family style and picnic lunches are prepared for day excursions. The resort has also an outdoor pool and offers water sports equipment with a great diving location in front of the resort.

Pigeon Cay Beach Club, Cat Island

Set in a wide bay a mile off the main road, the club has seven deluxe cottages perched steps away from a 3 miles stretch of sugary white sand beach.

The native stone and stucco cottages has colorful island furniture, at separate sitting area, a completely equipped kitchen, wireless internet access and ceiling fans but the rooms have no air conditioning, no phones and TV.

You can cook yourself or the club chef can prepare the meals for you and you dine seaside or in your cottage. The resort is perfect for snorkeling, kayaking,, canoeing, sailing, fishing and swimming or just relax at the beach.
